The other major problem with Christianity is Lucifer. It doesn't make any sense. I mean, think about it, and look at the story. Lucifer was one of God's most glorious creations, a Seraphim, one of his top angels. And then he disagreed with God, they fought, he tried to take over and was banished to hell.

I have no problem with any of this. No, what I have a problem with is his protrayal after that. I mean, now let's think about this logically. Satan disagreed with God, or wanted to be in power, but how does that lead to his desire to destroy all God's works? That makes no sense. It seems to me he'd want to convert as many as possible to his worship to turn them away from God. But he'd have no reason to torture and kill them. I mean, it makes absolutely no sense. It seems to me, most likely, if Satan is the Lord of Hell, he makes it as enjoyable as possible so more people will want to go there and worship him. I mean, he may not be able to do anything about the hellfire and brimstone, but I bet he keeps a pool around for special occasions.

There is no reason for Satan to go on a killing spree, or to harm anyone at all, unless it's someone under God's protection, and is a specific act of rebellion against God. He most certainly wouldn't go around killing his people, because as the bible has proven time and time again, Satan is not, in fact, stupid.

He's protrayed as a bully, an idiot and a villain because he's the bad guy. But really, more than likely, he's a nicely urbane fellow with a silver tongue who'd much sooner convert you than kill you. I mean, why waste a life or a soul when you win the more you have? And really, isn't that what religion is all about, winning?
